2 What data do we process?

The app works in so-called anonymous mode. We do not require registration via email or password. We process only these technical data:

  • Nickname (Nick): The name you choose yourself so others on the list recognise you (e.g., "Mom", "Peter").
  • Shopping List Content: Items you add (e.g., "Milk", "Bread").
  • Technical Identifiers: A randomly generated device code (Token) that serves to pair your phone with your list.

3 Purpose and Legal Basis

Purpose: The sole purpose of processing is to ensure the functionality of the app – i.e., that items you add to the list appear for other household members (data synchronisation).

Legal Basis: Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (provision of service), which you requested by launching the app and accepting the terms.

4 Where is data stored?

Data is stored primarily locally on your device (LocalStorage).
For the purpose of sharing the list between multiple devices, it is temporarily transferred in encrypted form and stored on our secure server. The server serves only as a "postman" for exchanging information between your devices.

5 Third Parties

We do not provide your data to any third parties, advertising networks, or analytics companies. It serves exclusively your needs.

6 Your Rights

As a data subject, you have the right:

  • Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can delete your data at any time directly in the app under "Cookies / Local Data". This severs the link between your device and the server.
  • Right to Rectification: You can change your name or items in the list at any time directly in the app interface.
  • Right to Access: You have access to all data we hold about you – you see it directly on your phone screen. We have no other hidden data about you.
